Short answer
Sunshine Party Rentals helps principals, teachers and PTO/PTA volunteers plan field days, school carnivals, back-to-school nights and fundraisers with inflatables, games, tents and seating. All Sunshine employees have passed the Pennsylvania child abuse background check and FBI fingerprint background checks. We’re fully insured and fully inspected in Ohio, Pennsylvania and West Virginia. We serve primarily within a 60-mile radius of East Liverpool, Ohio; for large events, all of Ohio, West Virginia and Pennsylvania.
Rental options
- Field day: obstacle courses, interactive games, inflatable slides
- Carnivals and fundraisers: dunk tanks, bounce houses, combos, foam parties
- Shade and seating: tents, tables and chairs, tent packages
- Restrooms: portable restrooms and hand-washing stations
For principals and administrators
- Certificate of insurance on request, with your school or district added as additional insured.
- Background-checked crews (PA child abuse and FBI fingerprint checks).
- W-9 available on request.
- We do not cover any direct damage from inflatables or rental items.
- Payment: credit card, cash or check; balance due three days before delivery.
For PTO/PTA volunteers
- Send your date, school address, grades and expected student count with your quote request. We’ll suggest a mix for the age groups. Ages vary by inflatable, from 2 up to 99, and most units have height restrictions that differ by unit.
- Book school events 6 to 12 months ahead.
Planning needs
- Surface: grass (staked); blacktop, concrete, gravel or anywhere we can’t stake must be sandbagged, with an extra fee.
- Power: outlet within 50 feet of each inflatable, or a generator.
- Weather: inflatables stop in heavy rain and at 15 mph sustained winds or 20 mph gusts. A weather cancellation with 24+ hours’ notice gets a 100% rain-check credit valid 12 months.

Are your staff background-checked to work on school grounds?
Yes. All Sunshine employees have passed the Pennsylvania child abuse background check and FBI fingerprint background checks.
Can you provide a certificate of insurance for our district?
Yes, and we can add your school or district as additional insured on request.
What works for K–5 vs. middle school?
Ages vary by inflatable, from 2 up to 99, and most units have their own height restrictions. Tell us your grades and student count and we’ll suggest units that fit.
What if field day gets rained out?
If we cancel, or you cancel for weather with at least 24 hours’ notice, you get a 100% rain-check credit for a new date within 12 months.
Can you set up on blacktop?
Yes. Anything we can’t stake, including blacktop, concrete or gravel, is sandbagged, with an extra fee.
Do you serve schools outside your local area?
We serve primarily within a 60-mile radius of East Liverpool, Ohio; for large events, all of Ohio, West Virginia and Pennsylvania.
