A county-seat school community

Beaver Area School District, about 25 miles west of Pittsburgh, enrolls about 2,060 students across two elementary schools and a middle/high school campus. College Square serves grades K–2, so kindergarten and early-grade field days lean toward smaller bounce houses and giant games. Dutch Ridge (grades 3–6) and the Gypsy Glen campus suit obstacle courses and bigger combos for field days, class picnics and after-prom.
