Duties

Rookie/Trainee

Cleaning: You and the rest of the warehouse crew will be in charge of getting the equipment cleaned and ready to be delivered in a timely manner. You will be working under the supervision of the cleaning manager and be shown how to clean, organize and load all rental items for the weekend rentals. As a new employee for Sunshine Party Rental,  you will be trained hands-on and watch webinars (online videos) to get you ready for the next step in your position. 

Deliveries:  You may be required to do some deliveries even at the beginning of your employment. When on a delivery, you will be working under the supervision of a Rental Leader. Your rental leader first will go over the proper set-up process with you and get a layout for the event. He/she then will go over what tasks they will need you to complete to help with the set-up and completion of the event. You will be responsible for keeping busy and doing anything that is needed for the successful completion  of every event .   

Responsibilities and requirements 

  1. You will be responsible for the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse and everything located in the warehouse. 
  2. You will be responsible for getting to work on time or early everyday for at least 30 days. with no call offs or paid vacation time. (Some exceptions will be made) (One minute late is still late)
  3. You will be responsible to follow all dress codes and all other requirements included in the employee handbook. 
  4. You will be required to check in with a manager or Justus when you come in to work to show you what tasks need to be done for the day.

Duties

Deliveries: As an Assistant Rental Leader for Sunshine Party Rental, you and the Rental Leader will be the ones in charge of delivering and setting up the inflatables and other party rental equipment. You also will be there to support the driver by calling and communicating with the customer, walking the customer through the proper operation and safety guidelines of the equipment as well as having them sign the contracts and collect payment upon delivery if needed. On a typical day, you will deliver party rental equipment to anywhere between four to 12 locations. Of course, the equipment also needs to be picked up as well. Sometimes this is done on the evening of the party; however, sometimes we pick up the following day or few days after. Shifts will typically last anywhere between four to 10 hours. You also will  be the rental leader’s helper on any big events, you will work with them as a right hand to complete the proper tasks for the event. You are responsible as much as the rental leader at making sure all rentals and events are set-up properly and run smoothly with no problems. If you are an Assistant Rental Leader (Tier 2),  you may be responsible for private residential deliveries at some points. This will make you the team lead, and you will be solely responsible for the proper setup of all rental items at these events.

 You will talk with the customer making sure everything is set-up in the proper SAFE areas and that the customers are comfortable with all training for the rental items.Cleaning: You may be required to clean and get the equipment ready to be delivered. You will be working under the supervision of the cleaning/warehouse  manager and help clean, organize and load all rental items for the weekend rentals. As an Assistant Rental Leader for Sunshine Party Rental, you will be responsible for all unclean rental items or items that are misplaced in the warehouse right under the cleaning warehouse manager.

  11. Give constructive criticism when needed and help train new employees on tasks

Duties: As an Event Rental Leader, you will be the ones in charge of checking your trucks for all of the correct items and working with the cleaning warehouse manager on loading your trucks. You will be setting up the inflatables and other party rental equipment and managing all other employees at the event or rental. You will need to delegate tasks for each employee and make sure they are following all proper setup processes and safety procedures. You also will also the customer through the proper operation and safety guidelines of the equipment, as well as having them sign the contract and collect payment upon delivery if needed. On a typical day you will deliver party rental equipment to anywhere between a single and a dozen locations. Of course, the equipment also needs to be picked up as well. Sometimes this is done on the evening of the party; however, sometimes we pick up the following day or days after. Shifts will typically last anywhere between six to 12 hours and sometimes longer. Your job is to be in charge of all proper set-ups and safety checks. You are responsible for keeping the customer happy and keeping everyone safe. You are responsible for keeping all employees busy and on task at all times. You have the power to send people home if they are not working properly after giving them a warning; however, you will also have the responsibility of finding a replacement if needed to cover.

  17. Keep organized and keep the trucks and workspace clean. 
  18. Maintain your vehicles for work and tell Justus about any maintenance needed. 
  19. Keep trucks full of fuel at all times and don’t let them run out. 
  20. Check all vehicles before leaving for deliveries. 
  21. Do all safety checklists or paperwork needed and keep track of them. 

Duties: As a Location Rental Manager, you will be the one in charge. Your responsibilities will be the same as an Event Rental Leader (Tier 3). You will be in charge of employee relations and schedules. You will be in charge of event logistics and site evaluations for large events. You will be in charge of running large events and overseeing everything. You will need to have passed all inflatable courses to keep the license active. You will also need to pass a basic first aid class. You will need to learn the company software and be fluent in using it. You will be incharge of speaking with customers and keeping them happy. You will need to take bookings and know all details of doing a full rental booking. You will be doing site evaluations and you are responsible for all employees when out on rentals you will be incharge of looking for new equipment and purging old rental inventory when needed. You will be responsible for maintaining all safety courses from the past and keeping track of paperwork for the different state inspections for inflatables and making sure all inflatables are licensed and in good working order. You will need to maintain relationships with other businesses and you will be responsible for all employee relations.  You will need to be flexible with your schedule and willing to work long hours. Hours could be anywhere for 40 to 60 hours per week. (You must have at least one year of experience in each tier of Location Rental manager before you can get a promotion to the next tier.)
